Best Meat Market in the Puerto Vallarta Area
Today I decided that I really wanted a great steak for dinner. I had some time so I decided to drive to Bucerias and visit our friends, Kyle and Irma Quast at Carnes del Mundo.
You might remember Kyle and Irma from the Desperado Deli located in the boatyard in Marina Vallarta. A few years ago they closed the deli to dedicate themselves to their meat market. It has gone very well for them.
They supplied all of our cold cuts at The Coffee Cup and they still do for the new owners. Now, they have a long list of the top restaurants and hotels as clients, including The Four Seasons and Daiquiri Dick’s.
I always like to send people to businesses that we patronize and Carnes del Mundo is one of our favorites. They have almost any cut of meat or type of sausage that you could want. Their meat market is located on the main highway, Hereo de Nacozari #31 in Bucerias, Nayarit. The telephone number is 329-298-2115. I have always gotten a great selection of meats from you guys but have a question. Do you have any T-shirts that say, You can’t Beat Our Meat!. I know it was your slogan a while back. If you have any, I d sure like one so I can advertise for you
Kyle and Irma are kind of hit and miss. Depends on the day and the month, some times they’re friendly and other times they could care less for your business. It’s a little hard to explain but I can’t explain it either. Good Luck!
On a personal basis, Kyle, Irma, Dylyn and Damian is one of the nicest and friendliest families around. As for their Carnes del Mundo meat shop in Bucerias, the quality is always 110% and what a selection! Couple that with Kyle’s and Irma’s service and amazing knowledge of their product AND what to do with it, is why I will always recommend Carnes del Mundo.
What great meats Kyle and Irma have to offer, and they know their stuff! But I kind of side with Pete on the Jeckyl/Hyde thing, you just never know who your going to approach. I stepped out of my way to be friends with them and was left really without words. My best to you and your family and keep up the great product.
