I caught this parrot in the act of eating a jalapeno pepper. When I asked why he was eating a jalapeno, I was told it was to make him speak better. I’d never heard that before. People believe that feeding a bird jalapenos increases its ability to speak.

Rainy Season is My Favorite Time of Year
By far, my favorite time of the year in Puerto Vallarta is the rainy season which runs from June through September. My first impression of Vallarta was in late July during the peak rains, so to me “real” Vallarta is green and wet.

Everywhere you turn you’ll find something beautiful in Puerto Vallarta, oftentimes in unexpected places. The beaches and mountains are obviously beautiful but if you open your eyes to the little things you will be surprised at what you’ll see.
