Funny Warning Sign
I always like to run across funny signs. This warning sign is at the base of the pier in Olas Altas.
All you can read is, “The Alcohol and the Helm.” I assume the bottom part of the sign which you can’t read says something like, “don’t mix.”

Another one of my favorite warning signs: [...]

While taking some pictures of the Marina in Nuevo Vallarta, I came across this crocodile warning sign which I thought looked cool.
Nuevo Vallarta really is full of crocodiles. I have seen many of them even on the golf course. I don’t know of anyone having trouble with the crocodiles in the canals, but I wouldn’t [...]

You never know what sort of wildlife you will come across in Puerto Vallarta. I had a chance to play golf at the Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta this past weekend and while we were playing we were surprised by all sorts of creatures. I was able to snap some photos.

Sand Sculptures on the Boardwalk
When you are on the boardwalk in downtown Puerto Vallarta be sure to check out the sand sculptures on the beach. Every day, a local group of artists creates elaborate sand sculptures in order to earn donations from passersby.

Driving through Nuevo Vallarta, I spotted this sign warning you of the crocodile that lives in the pond next to the driving range at the Mayan Palace golf course.

I got out to investigate. [...]

It’s a narrow, funky walkway that is a mix of vendors and private homes. Great street art covers the walls. [...]

Buy a Hat From a Street Vendor in Bucerias
I took this picture of a hat vendor from the main plaza in Bucerias on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in January.
Every day you will find the hat vendor in front of the boardwalk. His pickup truck is his showroom. He spreads sarapes (Mexican blankets) over his truck [...]

The artwork appears to have been done as part of a mural project in 2002. Over time, the paintings have faded and some have been covered in graffiti but the paintings that remain still look cool.
