Little by little, more stores are opening in the new mall, Galerias Vallarta. Hang Ten, Scappino, and The Athlete’s Foot opened this past week. The restaurant in Liverpool has a fantastic view overlooking the cruise ship terminal. We didn’t try the restaurant because we didn’t feel like waiting but the prices are fair and we will give it a try some other time.
Based on the amount of people in Liverpool it looks like the mall is going to be a huge hit. When I am in the mall I don’t feel as though I am in Vallarta. It feels more like I am in Guadalajara or Mexico City. If you have been to Galerias, please leave a comment on this post and tell us what you think.
The mall hours are 11:00am to 8:00pm every day of the week.

The fact that the security people ride segways never ceases to amuse me. Hopefully not all the stores will as pricey as Liverpool although I’ll admit, it is one of the only places in Vallarta I could find a duvet cover.
I am trying to finda shoe store called Lobo. Can you please help me locate this store.
It’s wonderful to have a real, professional department store here. Their towel/linen department is wonderful as are all their sales people. Tourists forget that all imported items have a 40% tax plus mark-up. It’s made other stores clean up their act and do discounting and sales – unheard of before here. Wish you didn’t have to pay to park though – like Pennisula.
What is the name of the buffet there?
The buffet restaurant is Sirloin Stockade. The salad bar is my favorite.
Does anyone have the phone number to the Sirloin Stockade?? It is a GREAT spot for families to enjoy. Something for everyone.
The mall is beautiful. Don’t be fooled by the Prada Store…. they are are fakes. Leaves you to wonder the worth of anything else in the store
I wondering everybody see these message and these is for Kimy i went to Prada store and when i saw the logo i know that its different Prada, and when i see the models aré totally diffrent than italy Prada so when i ask to the ladys they explain me that its totally different from italy these ones aré made in spain aré differents disigners too and different letters a different logo and different prices and they explain me that in Mexico its allow and permit to use the same name.. So its no faje . But the people make a mistake when dont ask first and dont see the models and check the quality and there aré very nice leather shoes comfortable and i decide to buy some pairs i was very happy expirience and i learn we need ask first moré when its a different country.
