Puerto Vallarta is filled with Iguanas. Everywhere you turn, there’s another one. This very large iguana is the most recent one I have encountered.
Fortunately, I had my camera with me to get the shot. It must be used to people because it allowed me to get very close.

I am a penpal for a class of Kindergarteners and they are learning the letter I using the Iguana as the animal. I would like to have permission to send your iguana picture to them so that they can see what one looks like. Being a writer, i am keenly aware of the protection needed via copyright. These are innercity kids, some of whom have never even seen what green grass looks like and this is such a beautiful picture that it would be an honor for me to be able to send this to them. If you would rather not, could you advise me as to where i can go to get a free picture of a Green Iguana. I am having trouble finding free downloads on the internet. Thanks so much. Andrea Allison
