Playa de Oro Public Beach Access
A block south of Walmart is a little known public beach access point. From the Pemex gas station at the cruise ship terminal walk about 200 yards towards the beach and you will find an unmarked gate. It looks more like a hole in the fence than a gate.
Walk through the gate and you come out on the beach in front of the Crown Paradise Club Hotel. The beach is beautiful with a view of the city to the south and close-up view of Marina Vallarta to the north.
