We travel to Puerto Vallarta almost every year for 2 weeks to an all inclusive BUT still make time for Maruicio's at least twice while were there. I Had my b-day dinner there. I've even taken my son who can't eat seafood there (we stopped at a pizza place and Mauricio’s had no problem with him bringing a pizza into the restaurant.) Ok....Thats cool in my book So I would say Mauricio's restaurant Is a great place to have a good meal and a great time will be had by all. enjoy your meal and your life. life is far to short to BE HATING ON PEOPLE. Who ever goes to PV and does not visit Mauricios is seriously missing out. Have been there twice (once for lunch and once for dinner) and have not been disappointed. A great place and make sure you have a Tecate. In fact, I have even seen tour buses unloading people. The good thing is that even though it is on the tourist's radar Mauricio's has not become a "tourist trap." It's remained the same as always.
