Enmarcados GMC, better known to most as Memo’s Frame Shop, is one of the businesses we patronize. And as I have mentioned in many other posts, I like to promote local businesses which I feel are a cut above. I don’t do it because their is anything in it for me. I do it because after five years as the owner of The Coffee Cup, I know how difficult it is to survive in business here.
Memo Macedo, the owner is well known in Puerto Vallarta. The shop has been in business for 17 years. Nearly all of the galleries in town use Memo’s shop as do most the private art buyers. Even after so many years, Memo is still a hands on operator. He is usually the first one in and the last one to leave.
Enmarcados GMC is located at Francisco Villa #305 in Colonia Olimpica,
Puerto Vallarta. It is directly in front of the water company (SEAPAL)
and is one block north of the municipal stadium.
A previous post about Galeria Flores , which is in the same building, has a great MAP to get to Memo’s Frame Shop.
It took a little convincing but I got Memo to agree to let me take pictures and post them for my readers. If you do go to Memo’s shop, let him know that you read about it douglas’ blog.

Great article of a highly recommendable shop. Not only a wonderful person. Always with a smile and working hard. I have been working with him for my paintings over 13 years. Never a delay or a slight problem, something very hard to find in surreal Mexico. Congratulations on the article!
