Parrot Eating a Jalapeno Pepper

I caught this parrot in the act of eating a jalapeno pepper. When I asked why he was eating a jalapeno, I was told it was to make him speak better. I’d never heard that before. People believe that feeding a bird jalapenos increases its ability to speak.

I’ll have to go back to find out if it’s true. The parrot didn’t speak to me at all. Maybe, I’m just not a good conversationalist.
