Puerto Vallarta Street Food Tour

Every now and then, I do a search for videos about Puerto Vallarta on YouTube.com. I found a recent submission by chef Katie Henderson, in which, she samples street food from around Puerto Vallarta.

In this video, she tries chicharrones (pigskin deep-fried in lard) and breakfast tacos. It’s breakfast time as I am writing this. I sure would love some good breakfast tacos but I’m not so sure about the chicharrones.

Hi,

I was just in PV for a week-long vacation and I wanted to share two great street food finds. Because of your recommendation and because it was near to where we were staying, we ate breakfast at El Querreque, happy to support a local family-run establishment.

The best seafood: Burritas y Tacos De Mariscos El Chef
on Constitucion and Madero. Open 11am to 7pm, seven days a week. Fresh seafood cooked to order. Burritas are 45 pesos, tacos 20. We enjoyed it so much, we went back for lunch and dinner on the same day. Sad we didn’t find until our last full day in PV.

The best tacos al pastor: El Flaco
Southwest corner of Madero and Vallarta. Open 7pm to 1am, closed Tuesday and Wednesday. 10 pesos a taco. The best and spiciest sauces, help yourself to as much of them as you like, as well as radishes and cucumbers.
